I have completed a 5 x 5 square grid that is about 24." I want to add another row of squares at the top and the bottom, but I don't know which side I should put them on, and which colors I should use. Please advise. Any input is appreciated.
Looks great so far. I think you should add at least one more purple to the bottom to balance out the two in the second row. A red or two on the top would be good too. A light blue in the bottom right corner. You really could get away with any of the colors.
Instead of making it long with another 10 squares, could you make 11 more and have a 6 x 6 square? I like the look of square throws....but then that's just personal choice I guess, I like all the colours you're using!
Your squares have come together beautifully. What about adding a row to the right and bottom of the block. I like all the colours but the green and purple stand out really well.
They're all lovely colours. I especially like the green. It took me ages to decide on a layout for my squares so i'm probably not the best person to offer advice :) I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide though :)
Hello - I was doing the rounds at the Tuesday Tally. Your work is so intricate, love it. I'm not sure which edges to do. Maybe make some more squares and then lay them out in various spots?
