Gingham Baby Blanket

I have fallen way behind on my Granny-a-Day Challenge.  Back in September, I bought a bag of granny squares already made for $3.  All I had to do was stitch them together.  There was probably more than 200.

I started with the white, light blue and dark blue squares, and based my blanket off a pattern in one of my granny square books.  I finished with a border of dc's in a soft fuzzy blue yarn from my yarn stash.

  1. I bet that sure took a long time even with the squares already done. I love the granny square blankets.

  2. I did not know it was possible to purchase already-made squares. I hope the ends were neatly tucked in!

  3. Beth, the grannies were bought at a garage sale, sold by someone that I am sure got them from someone else, and did not know how much they were worth.
