I was trying to make a necklace like the ones I've seen in jewelry catalogues. I think they are called "bib" necklaces. I used a pretty turquoise thread and blue, green, purple and clear beads. Not quite the effect I wanted, but I still like it. What do you think?
How lovely. Makes great jewellery for people allergic to metals!
ReplyDeleteOhhh.. I think it is gorgeous. I would love to wear this!!

gorgeous!! i love crocheted necklaces. this one is so delicate, yet bright and bold as well!
ReplyDeleteI think this one is grand just as it is, but if you are going for the more drappy effect I have seen, try a thread with less body, maybe a bamboo thread, those always end up very drappy when I knit with them.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Turquoise is one of my favorite colors!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and great color!
ReplyDeleteI like it! You could probably sell these at a craft show. I have to say though, the shape reminds me of a very scanty bikini!

I think it's gorgeous! I adore that color.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, I love the turquoise and the clear beads together!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful necklaces! I cannot imagine creating anything like that with yarn...I think that is what you are doing. I don't know if it is crochet or knitting, but either way it is cool!
