The back half of the overalls is done, and the front legs are started. With the other projects I am doing, this is a pretty good pace. I believe this is the second most complicated knitting pattern I have used, so it is going pretty well. I know it will keep a little one warm this fall/winter.

Cute so far, although I'd have knit them in the round to avoid seaming. Nevermind though, seams always turn out better than I think they will!
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I am rather amazed that the front and back are knitted as separate pieces. I would have made them one leg at a time and joined centre front and back. I can see why it would be a little hard. Looks like you are nearly there though. They are so sweet. :-)

ReplyDeleteJust today I was contacted to review a knitting book as well as receive one of their kits to make and add in with the review. I am not an avid knitter so I chose a very simple scarf kit--or at least it looked simple.
ReplyDeleteI've not done any type of fancy knit stitches since home-ec class in high school.
