Upsidedown Turquoise Crown

I was trying to make a necklace like the ones I've seen in jewelry catalogues.  I think they are called "bib" necklaces.  I used a pretty turquoise thread and blue, green, purple and clear beads.  Not quite the effect I wanted, but I still like it.  What do you think?

I think this one is grand just as it is, but if you are going for the more drappy effect I have seen, try a thread with less body, maybe a bamboo thread, those always end up very drappy when I knit with them.

I like it! You could probably sell these at a craft show. I have to say though, the shape reminds me of a very scanty bikini!

Such beautiful necklaces! I cannot imagine creating anything like that with yarn...I think that is what you are doing. I don't know if it is crochet or knitting, but either way it is cool!
