Another Knitted WIP Wednesday

I started another knitting project this week.  It is going to be a baby sweater.  The yarn is a kind of heather mauve/maroon that I purchased at Big Lots for a dollar a skein! I am using a pattern from a box of leaflets that I got in the bargain bin at Barnes & Noble, so I guess you could say I am being really thrifty with this project.  So far, I have finished the back side of the cardigan.  I am not really happy with the bodice part of the pattern, but I will see how the rest of it goes before I try it again...

I’ve not knitted for years but it’s nice to see it’s making a comeback.
Your little sweater looks to be coming along nicely.

Happy Crafting!

It's looking good so far. Knitting is one of the talents I wished I possessed. I'm sure my hubby is glad I don't... one hobby is enough, he'd say.

Hooray for dollar-a-skein yarn that still manages to be pretty---I love the depth of the colour on this, and I hope the pattern will turn out well. :)

For a dollar? Yikes, it would make me want to learn knitting properly! I like the bobbly pattern and the colour is really sweet.

It looks great to me. Though on my screen it looks like an awesome brown. You hit the jackpot it seems both with the pattern and the yarn....well done, think of the money you saved.
